This Friday evening, I was on the Millennium Line for the second session of my residency. In one direction, commuters headed home after a long day of work. In the other direction, young people boarded with plans for Friday night.
I made some quick portraits for a group of teens - “Yo, this is some TikTok level shit!” - and others that asked about my work.

📻 Live on CBC Radio
On Monday morning, I did an interview on the Early Edition with Stephen Quinn on CBC Radio Vancouver.
I spoke about quitting the academic ladder to become a writer, my goals with the Translink residency, and why I love to draw in public spaces:
“My art is a way to feel comfortable in foreign places, to try to understand strangers and the way communities live, even looking at it from a distance, even when you feel like an outsider.”
I made it to the website too!
