Dear reader,
You did something magical this week. By giving your time and attention to some quick scratches made with ink on paper, you brought them to life.
In today’s post, the tiny stories you wrote and, marked with stars, the winners of this month’s competition. Dear winners, please email me a mailing address at nishant[at]sneakyartist[dot]com to receive a signed print from me!
The SneakyArt Post is a publication of secretly drawn art of the world. Every week, I share my latest work, and the best ideas from my journey of self-education to be an artist and writer.

The Tiny Stories you wrote
Congratulations
for perfectly describing this scene almost exactly as it unfolded before me.Thank you
for this thoughtful snippet.Thank you B$ for this beautiful phrase - fractions of casual conversations.
It was a table full of the groom’s Bengali relatives, so I think you’re on point with that observation
!Congratulations
, I simply could not ignore the most excellent Reservoir Dogs double-reference! I relate to this so hard! It was a continuous flow of visitors at the Dali exhibit, and difficult to stay still at any canvas for too long. That is a beautiful tiny story,
! props to "shurdles" and for how well you noted the last remaining word of baby talk. It is clear that this is autobiographical. In each of these stories, I feel the undercurrent of hope, optimism, and the tenacity of life. I also sense the beautiful empathy in your words,
, , . for a moment I wondered if you were the story for the Dali exhibit, so wonderful are these colours you have painted in just a few words. Congratulations and thank you, for helping me take so much from this drawing.Dear writers, you took these drawings from my world and, with just a few words, made them a part of your world. If that is not magic, what is?
The Vancouver Marathon
This Sunday, I was at the start line of the 51st Vancouver Marathon.
I stood in front of 20,000 runners, waiting for the signal. You could say I stood in front of 20,000 dreams, waiting to be fulfilled. If the average runner had dreamed of finishing a marathon for ~5 years, to make this drawing I stood in front of 100,000 years of longing.
To celebrate this special moment, I am putting my Tiny Marathon Runners print on sale for this week only.
If you dream of running a marathon too, or know someone running this year, or someone in dire need of inspiration, maybe this helps?
Discount applied automatically at checkout but only until the end of this week!
Thank you, dear reader, for your time and attention. This week, I am driving my parents to Banff National Park. Interesting drawings lie ahead!
Absolutely cannot wait for the Banff drawings! One of earth’s most majestic places. ❤️
Great post. I read every word today.
