I love that you’re doing these workshops, and wish I could be there! You’ve inspired me to start bookbinding again - thank you. Question: what paper are you using for your sketchbook insides? I’ve loved seeing you build sketching challenges into the books themselves - something for me to aspire to.
Hi Jocelyn, for paper I go to my art supply store and get big sheets of mixed media, 250gsm paper by Canson, Stonehenge, and other brands. I'm going to try some lighter papers for the next one.
I saw Ghost In the Machine at SIFF, about AI. It was fantastic and, suprisingly, I didn't feel terrible/depressed afterwards. Thank you for the links! I'll see you at Sketcher Fest on that Sunday - yay!
I didn't have an Artist Talks pass for sketcherfest but learning of your talk put me over the line where it's cheaper to get one then pay individually. I follow you in the Artist's Lounge schedule.
I've made a monthly 'Zine since May of 2022. I send it out free to a few friends and family. I have a good retirement so I don't need or want to run a business!

Honestly it's the same papers we get in most sketchbooks. Take it as a chance to explore what else your local store has in stock!
