Some good lines from the week. Enjoy!
Here comes the sun
We drove up to Whistler to get away from the city, to catch the natural beauty before the snows began, to celebrate my birthday. The road along the coast is called ‘sea to sky’. It is a short drive to another world.
Our phones told us to expect rain. But instead a generous sun greeted us, and we sat on soft grass and said thank you.
The wife pointed to Mt Whistler, where the ski slopes cut through the line of trees. They looked much too narrow and much too steep.
What a way to live, she said.
What a way to die, I said.
But I suppose all life is just a creative way to die.
Amazing! I found your newsletter from the link in Lyle's post: https://lyle.substack.com/p/this-is-going-to-keep-happening-isnt
Happy belated birthday 🥳, Nishant!
