👋🏼 Hello reader.
Day 19 | 1pm | 9 deg C | sun
There is a construction site near my home. I have been wanting to draw the workers for a long time. Today was just the right day to do it.
This is Day 19 of 30 Days of Vancouver, my daily drawing project to explore Vancouver and draw TinyPeople.
If you like what you read, share the SneakyArt Post with a friend who might enjoy it too!
Can you see the effect of the solitary rain drop that made it to my page? It’s the worker on the top-right. I felt the drop hit the page, looked at what it did, and smiled.
I love this small splotch of ink. It is a record of a moment in time. This splotch will remain forever on the page, like a signature of that drop of water. A drop of water that has traveled many thousands of miles, carried by ocean winds high up in the sky, until it was suddenly shed by its cloud and separated from its fellows.
The journey of this drop, the history of its water, ended on my page today.
3 things we never get tired of watching
Fire burning
Water running
People working
This is poetry in an oasis of inspiration, really poignant.
