👋🏼 Hello reader!
Today was Day 30! We did it!
30 Days of Vancouver is was a daily drawing project to capture life in different parts of the city, and collect material for my upcoming book of SneakyArt.
Knowing that the good weather would lure them out of their homes, I went to draw tiny people at the sea wall. Since moving out of downtown, I have not been back to visit this part of the city.
While we lived in downtown, all my morning runs began and ended at the sea wall. I have loved running along the water to loop Stanley Park (in one direction), and I have enjoyed equally the path that loops (in the other direction) around Olympic Village.
If you like receiving the SneakyArt Post, tell the world about it. Shout it from the rooftops. Post about it on LinkedIn. Vote for it in 2024.
I walked along the sea wall until I reached the now-infamous English Bay Barge. It is a shipping barge that strayed into English Bay during a king-tide event and ultimately crashed into the rocks.
It has been six months but the city has not yet managed to safely remove the barge. It is perilously close to being declared a British Columbia cultural hotspot. It might already be the cheapest real estate for young single professionals in the city.
Follow me on TikTok, and also find my work on Instagram.
Say hi to the barge.
It was cloudy while I was drawing but the sun came out by the time I was heading back home.
It is a good time to take pictures under a cherry blossom tree.

📝 I am still collecting tiny stories in the comment thread of this post. Winning entries will win signed copies of my zine!
🌳 A lesson on how to draw a tree without drawing the tree.
🙏🏼 Hearing back from someone that found art I had left on a bench.
📖 Next week, a sketchbook tour for the newly completed sketchbook - Saturday, 7 May, 10 am Pacific Time. This session is open to all readers. If you’re interested, let me know in the comments!
Next week, we resume the twice-a-week publication schedule. Wednesdays for SneakyArt Drops. Fridays for insights and ideas from my art practice. The special Sunday edition will go out to SneakyArt Insiders, the superfans who support my work and this publication.
Thank you, dear reader, for giving me a space in your inbox. I appreciate your time and attention.
Congrats Nishant! 🙌 🙌 🙌
