I love the quote from Blake. A writer I know referenced it in a piece, as in the hinges being blown off. What happens when our reality is shaken? It’s hard, but beyond that is the infinite, of which we are a part.

I think it hits hardest when an outside force (like a traumatic incident) does that to us. It is much wiser to take small steps ourselves to widen our perspective.

Your sketches are always ever so delightful and brings smiles! Love the people and especially the ducks! Love the quote. So much truth there. We see so much of the world as external despite the written words that tell us there is a oneness. And, when we view the separate external our experience is perceived through glasses we’ve made for ourselves.

Anyone who doesn’t go for walks is missing one the great pleasures of life. Walking is when I get some of my best ideas. And being outside always refreshes my soul.
