Love this idea. I enjoy trying to identify the trees around me. It’s something I do when wandering on long walks around old places and new. Combo of google lens+ plant identifying apps
And...trees have always driven me nuts, in my drawings and watercolors, trying to decide how much/little detail to include. So many leaves! So many branches! So many trees! And varieties of trees! Especially in a Colorado landscape! Argh!
PlantNet, Nature ID. I”ll have to try Seek/Picture This. It’s a bit cumbersome to identify trees because you gotta take a pic of the leaves and the trunk and even the flower somtimes to get accurate info, but worth knowing usually :)
Great sketches and post Nishant! Since I started my perpetual nature journal in 2020, a couple of apps have been very helpful in identifying plants drawn. I use both the Seek and PlantNet apps. I find the PlantNet app to be more accurate in identifying local plants in my area though. 🌿

Google Focus is pretty great for plant/bird ID from photos as well. But my wife swears by the Picture This app.
Good to know!

You don't have to take pics on Seek, but you do need to get close and spend time with different angles!
