Bored children! LOL!
I really like your experiments with color. Be careful, though, that you don't obscure images with dark colors. I had trouble seeing the focal point in the cityscape view of the stage concert. My eye landed on the crowd and buildings instead of the stage. The square grid, however, worked well. The dark colors hid the figures though. Loved the color squares on the individual characters. Awesome
