229. A Restless Baby

growth spurts and wide smiles.
21

Dear reader,

Rohan has hit another growth spurt. He is seeing farther than before. He is sensing more sounds. He is more easily distracted by shiny objects. He loves to be on his tummy. He likes to imitate our smiles and laughter. But it is also a little more difficult to feed him sometimes. If he does not want it, he does not want it. Until he wants it again. Fun times!

The SneakyArt Post is a publication of secretly drawn art of the world. Every week, I share the latest drawings from my sketchbooks, and best ideas from my journey as a parent, artist, and writer.

Rohan, starting to sing, reaching across the spectrum to more sounds than ever before.
Mum and child fall asleep post-feed.

Restless, then hungry again.

I am looking forward to the day that he will kiss us back when we kiss him. Alas, that day has not yet arrived. But this week Rohan will turn 3 months! Dear readers-who-are-parents-too, please share good advice in the comments. Or a memory. Or a thought.
