Dear reader,
It has been a busy week. We just moved to a new home! But this post is to remind you that my course - How to Draw the Tiny People of your World - is launching in 3 days. I think you will love it!
Many of you have signed up for Tiny People workshops in the past, so I had to make sure that this course offers something distinct and new. As a result, I spent a lot of time designing it. And now it is over 7 hours in length!
(I made this teaser for Instagram, can you tell how nervous I am about being in front of the camera?)
I made this course because I want to help you see the tiny people of your world. We spend unhealthy amounts of time on our screens, even when outside. And I think it would be a better world if we spent more time simply noticing one another.
Drawing is a way to notice other people, and this world we share.
You will love this course, if you want to:
✍🏼 Build a fun and mindful sketchbook habit
🤳🏼 Break out of the prison of social media
❤️ Get over Imposter Syndrome and begin drawing already!
More information to follow later this week. But here’s an important part - signing up to the waitlist gets you a special, discounted price!
So … are you in?
If you have any questions, jump into the comments and let’s talk!
Is it self paced with videos or live or?
I'm stoked to see you offering a workshop. I missed that they happened before, but I am a newly committed Substacker determined to get in there more on some of my favorite creators on this app. Your drawings remind me a lot of a friend's. She's in New Mexico and does very similar type observational drawings. She works in ink and also on her phone. She said she often gives or texts people's portraits to them. I love to people watch and want to get in on some of this fun. :)
