You're absolutely right. Put down the phone and re-engage with reality. I envy your ability to draw so quickly and translate your world onto the page like that. My pen draws letters instead of pictures, so I guess my "drawings" will be poems. Quick word sketches. Do the art in whatever form it takes. Thank you, Nishant. Oh, and I heard about your Limpey(?) pens by watching Samantha Dion Baker's video today. I love the feel of a good gel pen on newsprint paper (word puzzles). Maybe I ought to play with a fountain pain and India ink.
Hi Sue, you absolutely should play with fountain pens too! It's Lamy, btw. :) But I would not use India ink. As far as I understand, India ink is best for dip pens because they dry quickly and clog the barrels of fountain pens.
Thank you for the clarification on the ink as well as the name of the pens. Lamy! Sorry. My brain doesn't remember things from one end of the sentence to .... uh .....
Thank you for sharing such an honest story about your process with this book. It’s so refreshing- and a great reminder to reframe things rather than give up on what matters, especially when life seems to take a different turn.
“I learn by doing and re-doing” really hit home for me!
Congratulations!
Thank you so much!

So glad you ignored the voices and made the book!
Yes! 🙌🏽

I can’t wait to read your book! :)
You're welcome, Erica. Reframing is so appropriate, we need to do it with most things that appear to be obstacles.
Super exciting! Huge congrats on the book Nishant!
Thank you Anna! ❤️
