It was a privilege to talk to you, Nishant. Thank you for persisting with my Australian accent, and the excessive utterance of the word "wow" every time you introduced me to something I'd never heard of. Looking forward to part 2.
I’ll need to save and listen to the rest of the episode later, but I just wanted to say the presentation of your podcast article is incredible. The artwork, additional information, and quotes like this are a joy to explore.
There were some really funny bits in the intro, but I thought some reveals could have been left for the conversation.
The conversation went smoothly, and the questions felt natural. The sound quality changed a bit compared to the intro. Have you tried Adobe Enhance AI? It's free and works like a charm.
There was a wealth of information, and how you conclude and bring it back to Substack is excellent. The art, writing, and podcast don’t feel like separate projects. They all come together and enrich the experience, and Jason was a perfect guest for that.
Thanks for sharing, Nolan. This intro is unlike any I have done in previous episodes, so I will take that point. I was a little unsure about it as well.
As for sound quality, Jason and I had data issues during recording and the file I ended up using is a cloud backup from Squadcast. While Descript usually does a great job of filtering noise and echoes, it was not up to the mark this time maybe for that reason. That is also the reason for the difference in quality from intro to conversation. :)
I am glad you enjoyed the episode, thank you for giving it your time and attention. Part 2 soon!
I used to have similar issues when I used Riverside, but once I put it into Adobe Enhance, the issues would be solved. Here's a link in case you want to try it. I'm pretty sure it would help with this episode, too. But you'd have to split the file in two for length reasons and then put it back together. The sound was fine either way, but I wish I discovered this sooner: https://podcast.adobe.com/enhance

It was my pleasure, Jason!

I'm glad to hear that! I think you will really like the conversation too. Would love to know your thoughts once you've had a chance to listen!

I was able to narrow it down to a Descript publishing failure. They are having lots of technical issues this month!
Thanks! I'll check it out. 👍
My head blew off! And I can’t wait for part two wow!
Ahaha I'll take that as a good thing then! 🙌
Love the write up about Jason!
Thank you, Sravani!
