"Do only what is fun" will be my new motto, thank you.

And I just had a brilliant idea of how to make this afternoon's meeting fun - bring a sketchbook and do some sneaky art of course!

I’m suspicious that Nishant is not working. 😜 This thought came into my mind this morning while listening to latest episode of The SneakyArt podcast—he is enjoying himself, having lovely, deep conversations with like-minded people. Like, how often does anyone gets to do that—having long, three hours conversation with fellow artists; picking ideas, brains, encouraging each other through mutual sharing of knowledge. And the listeners get all of those too!

It reminded me of his question: what is the intersection of work and fun for you?

I think, Nishant, the podcast must be one of the most surprising intersection for you. :)

Listening to your podcast conversations is one of the work+fun intersections for me. I get to learn and mindfully apply it to my work as a fellow independent creator, and I sure have loads of fun intentionally finding the opportunities for long walks, drawing sessions, accompanied by your podcasts.

You're exactly right. Not only the podcast, but the writing and art too are ways to grow that intersection, make it comfortable, and live my life inside it. :)

Your podcasts are a wonderful collection of conversation filled with useful and easy to apply tips and suggestions. I really like how your questions take us behind the scenes of the visuals(sketchbooks) and help the audience know the artists and their processes better.. some of these conversations are long like 2 hours plus.. and one loses sense of time..

One of my favourite phrase was “your mistakes often become your style”.. this is such a liberating thought and just removes any inhibition one might have.. I am always very accommodating of the mistakes I make.. and this phrase is now a validation of sorts 🙂

I am always looking forward to your art posts, podcast and off lately the newsletter!!

Thank you and keep sketching!!

I'm glad you find liberation in that idea, Rohit. I feel the same way, and have learned to forgive myself more often. :) And I'm super happy to hear you're enjoying the newsletter too!

I like the clean lines in your art..My husband is an Engineer and I can see where this style comes from…no wasted space, but with a clear message.

The podcasts are superb…I enjoy listening at length to the voices of people that all of us know but will most likely never meet. We admire these people , so there is a curiosity ..wanting to learn more about them and the way they think.Your questions are insightful and they aim to probe in directions that many of us wonder about. This is the best art podcast I have heard. Great work!

What do I like about your work? Where do I start? Your insight about life coming through the words in your posts graced by the beautiful sketches present such relevance in navigating life today. I found fascinating that your podcast interviews reflect aspects of personal growth and self development that apply to those of us who are not artists in the traditional sense, but they stir within all of us a yearning to explore and do more with our life journey. Your work has encouraged me to reflect more deeply creative roots that have gone dormant within and perhaps a little water, nutrients, sunlight, and encouragement were the sparks that were needed to awaken and allow these roots to now thrive again. You have brought back wonderful memories of my dad who was a great artist and that when I was very young I did sketch and draw to honor my pets—my first goldfish and my first cat. Thank you for your brilliant work that you share. Sorry I can’t pick a favorite. I have enjoyed your writing, art work and podcasts altogether!!

Thank you so much for sharing, Kathy! It absolutely makes sense to me. Drawing my world has made me a much more sensitive person, and I 'see' more today than I ever did before. I am so glad to share this feeling with you. It means I have succeeded in what I set out to do! 🙏
