When I was in Vancouver last summer there was brilliant sunshine, and crowds were out in force and seemingly drunk on Vitamin D. It takes some rain to make you fully appreciate the sunshine, and vice versa.
Spring in Kentucky-from mid-April to late May. Just incredibly beautiful. Impossibly blue skies with puffy white clouds, spring blooming trees, flowering bulbs, also bleeding hearts, iris, peonies, dogwood, crabapple, pear and redbud trees... new foals frolicking in the pastures of diesel farms, horse racing season. Sometimes it is so pretty that my heart hurts from the beauty...
I remember the straight line drive from Southern California to Vegas. It is a truly beautiful place, at least from inside the car on a summer day. But I also enjoyed visiting some of the state parks along our way, and getting a real sense of the vastness of this land!
Thanks for sharing
Oh fun! I like Jason Chatfield and his handsome dog! I look forward to listening!
I would be glad to hear what you think of the episode!
I think summers best represent California but I love it when the winter rain arrives!
That first rain to break the season! ❤️

Absolutely yes!
Nice drawings! You capture the mood. Maybe you have been already asked about it, but can you tell which camera do you use?
Thank you Swasky. All recordings are with my Google Pixel 7, held in the other hand.
I love Rain-couver but when I moved there one November it was three weeks before I realised there were mountains as a backdrop to the city.
I think we had the same experience, moving to Vancouver in Jan 2021!
Misty west coast fall. Clouds shrouding the mountains with misty rain spattering and fog horns sounding. Vancouver Island, BC.
Such a beautiful part of the world. 🙌🏽

Horse farms!
*how awful! NOT DIESEL farms! HORSE
Farms! 🤣🥴
I live in the Mojave Desert near Las Vegas, Nevada. I would say the scorching hot summers are the defining season.

I live close to the Valley of Fire and it is amazingly colorful!
👋👋👋👋 good to be here with ya!
Also I agree, I feel like The Rain is the default state of the PNW and everything else is a fun diversion.
It does feel that way!
Gotta say, that was really nice and relaxing to watch and listen to. Thanks!
I'm glad to hear that! 🙌
